It has been noticed that the majority of tasks undertaken by individuals are not completed. This is because tasks have more than one step in their procedure, and a person can quit at any of the steps along the way before completion. It is useful to look to increase one’s percentage of tasks completed out of tasks started. This can be done by either taking on less tasks, or completing more of the ones that have already been started. Starting a new task that will probably be left unfinished is not beneficial, and so it is worth spending a moment before taking on a new task to confirm that it can be powered through to its end. Also, it is not a priority to take others into account when doing this thinking, because the majority of a task is completed by the one that thought of completing it.
