The events that define someone are those which put him in a large amount of pressure. It is in that time that a person can see how they react to a high level of life’s intensity. This response stays in one’s memory as their limit of ability. A higher ability to handle heavy pressure in a calm fashion means that a person has a higher range of control in their day-to-day tasks. There is a bar set when a high-pressure situation is traveled through successfully, and the height of this bar equals a person’s confidence as they go through the day since they know they can tackle hardship up to the level of that bar with negligible mental damage.
It does not matter whether person A deserves item A or person B deserves item A but whether person A or person B acquires item A. Deserving something does not have the value individuals would assume that it has since it requires multiple persons to be aware and accepting of that deserving. It tends to be that an individual feels that he deserves something, but others, selfish as they should be as successful organisms, feel that they are more deserving as it would benefit them more. The concept to extract from this is that the priority is to work with actions and not thoughts that float around in the mind since other individuals are not able to see those thoughts and will capitalize on a lack of action taken by one who is having the thoughts but not acquiring what the thoughts entail they should have.
Arnold Schwarzenegger once spoke to a group of younger individuals on the show “The Apprentice”, and he pointed out some vital information to them. He mentioned that he became successful in the movie field because he ignored the people that said he couldn’t become a famous actor due to his accent or background. As a person becomes more successful, other people around him end up saying to themselves, “why him and not me?”, and almost all individuals will respond in a jealous fashion to bring the person down. Arnold also said that a person can reach their goal if they are hungry. Another point that Arnold made was that the pain or trouble that a person goes through to succeed is temporary while the success that results from it is permanent. He said that the pain he went through to make a scene for a movie was temporary, but that the film was permanent. This boils down to the idea that it is worth it to struggle heavily now for an improved result that will continue to give back to the individual that caused it to be created.
The two most important aspects of one’s life are his time and health. Any billionaire or supermodel would give up everything to be younger or have improved functioning health. Time is an equalizing factor as all organisms are provided the amount of time to work with in a specific period(such as a day). Based off of this knowledge, one can prioritize activities to perform based on how they make use of time or affect their health in the long term. Working in a dangerous place for a small amount of profit is not wise as the profit is negligible when one becomes severely injured. People do have a good sense of time in the short term but only the minority can understand how to use time for the long term. Some things that seem to be good uses of time in the short term, like cleaning a room, are terrible uses of time when one thinks that their time could be better spent on a larger goal which would then lead to being able to hire someone to clean their room. When one thinks that there are about 25000 days in 70 years of life, their mindset changes, if only temporarily. It is beneficial to think that a hefty obstacle can be conquered in one day, and each individual has numerous days.
